“The Reflections of Cultural Heritage in Art and Design” conference, organized by the Traditional Turkish Handicrafts Application and Research Center within the scope of International Museums Week, was held on May 21, 2025 at the Çankırı Museum with the intense participation of Çankırı Deputy Governor Recep Yüksel, Çankırı Provincial Director of Culture and Tourism Muammer Ovacıklı, academics and students. Assoc. Prof. Nuray Akkol presented how the reflections of cultural heritage in the paintings of the Baksı Museum and Hüsamettin Koçan are reinterpreted in contemporary art practice; Assist. Prof. Seçil Ermiş İpek presented examples of the reflections of cultural heritage in the works of Turkish graphic designers. Moderated by Assoc. Prof. Arzu Evecen, the event ended with a Q&A session enriched with questions from the participants and a thank-you speech.
