Mission

Our main duties are to contribute to the sustainability of these arts by carrying out scientific and artistic activities for the promotion and development of traditional Turkish handicrafts together with internal and external stakeholders, and to create new design journeys by bringing together artisans working with traditional methods with original and contemporary artists.

Vision

In order to preserve our cultural heritage within our deep-rooted past, carrying out art and science-based activities at national and international levels, archiving the sources of traditional Turkish handicrafts with current techniques, providing work documentation and making the data accessible, updating traditional arts with contemporary and innovative designs in an interdisciplinary context and ensuring their sustainability through artistic activities are among the priority goals.
