The second Spring Children`s Festival was hosted by our university in cooperation with Çankırı Governorship, Çankırı Municipality, Çankırı Karatekin University Traditional Turkish Handicrafts Application and Research Center, Çankırı Provincial Directorate of Family and Social Services, Çankırı Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports, Çankırı Provincial Directorate of National Education and Çankırı Writers and Artists Association (ÇAYASAD). Our university Rector Prof. Harun Çiftçi, Ph.D. stated that they are pleased to organize the second Spring Children`s Festival and said, "This event will become a tradition. In this sense, I would like to thank all the institutions and non-governmental organizations that are our partners in our festival that touches the souls of our children.” And also he emphasized the importance of making them smile in this event. More than a hundred children took their places on the track after the speeches of our university Rector Prof. Harun Çiftçi, Ph.D., member of Faculty of Health Assoc. Prof. Nazan Kaytez Ph.D. and the president of ÇAYASAD Mr. Yüksel Arslan. In addition to the musical fairy tale narration with the presentation of Arzu Çetin Akyol under the coordination of Music Department Faculty Member Assist. Prof. Elvan Karakoç, our children could express themselves in many areas such as face painting, calligraphy, marbling activities, drama activities, balloon rhythm activities and folk dance performances accompanied by students and teachers and had the opportunity to have fun. In this enthusiastic and colorful event that lasted for over three hours, faces laughed, hearts warmed, and the meaning of hope and loyalty reached its climax once again.
