Summer Term Art Workshops events, which were prepared in partnership with the Traditional Turkish Handicrafts Application and Research Center and Çankırı Provincial Directorate of Family and Social Policies, have been completed. The events, which were carried out with the devoted efforts of Çankırı Karatekin University faculty members as well as volunteer students and guests who supported the event, lasted 3 months. Activities started in July attended by Assoc. Prof. Serap Aslan Cobutoğlu, Ph.D.`s Diction Workshop; Assoc. Prof. Dilek Öcalan`s Sculpture Workshop; Assoc. Prof. Nuray Akkol`s Painting/Collage Workshop; Assoc. Arzu Evecen`s Traditional Wood Printing Workshop and completed with Assist. Prof. Emine Ketencioğlu’s Felt Workshop. In August, our children participated in Notebook Making Workshop with Res. Assist. Fatma Feride Sezer, Experimental Typography Workshop with Assist. Prof. Seçil Ermiş İpek, Rhythm Workshop with Assist. Prof. Tuğba Çağlak Eker and Assist. Prof. Elvan Karakoç, Storytelling Workshop with Assist. Prof. Tuğba Çağlak Eker and Assist. Prof. Elvan Karakoç and Musical Storytelling with Arzu Çetin Akyol. In September, our event ended with Assoc. Prof. Nazan Kaytez, Ph.D.’s Drama Workshop, Lecturer Havva Eker Aktaş’s Making Animals from Ceramic Clay Workshop, Res. Assist. Kübra Aşçı’s Recycling Workshop and Assist. Prof. Eser Şensılay Sarıkaya’s Lid Box Making Workshop. We would like to thank to our Rector Prof. Harun Çiftçi, Ph.D., who supported us during the event, our Vice-Rector Prof. Hüseyin Odabaş, Ph.D, our university administrative staff, and the management and staff of Çankırı Family and Social Policies Provincial Directorate who shared us in this project, who always felt the excitement and happiness of being together during the event.
