The conference, titled "The Visual Construction of Humor in Cartoons: From Traditional Drawing to Contemporary Interpretation," focused on the structural, functional, and thematic transformations the cartoon genre has undergone since its emergence in the 16th century. Following this, humor, its types, and the functioning of the concept of humor in cartoons were examined. The formal tools that create humor in cartoons (line and color) and theories of visual composition were explained. The relationships between these formal tools used in cartoons to visualize any story in a humorous way were discussed, and examples of cartoons from different centuries were analyzed. The event concluded with a Q&A session followed by thanksgiving and best wishes.
